With deep respect and gratitude, we acknowledge that Mayne Island is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded traditional Coast Salish Territories of the Lekwungen and W̱SÁNEĆ First Nations which includes the Tsartlip, Tsawout, Tseycum, Pauquachin, Songhees and Esquimalt peoples. We honor their enduring relationship with this land and celebrate the opportunity to live, learn, and grow in this beautiful place in the spirit of reconciliation and respectful relationship.
