MITARCS collects only the personal information reasonably needed to manage memberships, events, donations, volunteering, communications and enquiries. We explain why information is requested and seek consent where required.
Subscription to general communications
Subscription to general communications is optional. You may unsubscribe or change your preferences at any time.
Service providers
We do not sell or rent personal information. We disclose it only to service providers needed to operate our programs, when you authorize us, or when required by law. Zeffy processes payments and registrations under its own privacy terms. MITARCS does not receive payment-card information.
Stored exclusively in Canada
Our authoritative contact and consent records are stored exclusively in Canada. If an external service may process information in another country, we will identify this where relevant.
Access is limited
Access is limited according to organizational roles. We use reasonable safeguards and retain information only as long as needed for its stated purpose or legal requirements.
Photographs, recordings and Indigenous cultural material
Photographs, recordings and Indigenous cultural material require appropriate permission, attribution and cultural review before publication.
