Led by the Campbell Bay Music Festival Society with W̱SÁNEĆ Elders, artists and families, Indigenous Curator Rose Spahan, PEPÁḴEṈ HÁUTW̱ Foundation and Mayne Island partner organizations.
The launch included three W̱SÁNEĆ films about the Southern Gulf Islands and a gathering at the future wetland ethnobotanical garden. J,SIṈTEN Dr John Elliott opened the event and helped set its direction toward learning and relationship-building.
